As a wedding photographer, I strive to create images that are able to express the love, the
laughter, the tears, the beauty, and the excitement that permeates every moment of the wedding
day. I approach the process using mostly natural and available light, and it is very much an up-
close and personal documentary-like photographic style.
Meeting the couple for the first time, learning about their ideas and sharing their excitement, and of course, the wedding day itself and witnessing the realization of the couple's dream.
3. What was the most memorable wedding you have been to?
It was my friends' Christina and Peter's wedding this past summer. Particularly, at this wedding, I had the chance to capture a “secret” midnight dance that Christina had planned for Peter as a gift
to him. Near midnight, Christina asked Peter to go for a walk (away from the ongoing dance party), and led him to a great old willow tree that has been decorated with lights and a chandelier. Here they danced to Debussy's Claire de Lune, one of their favorite classical compositions, with just a few of their closest friends being present for this unique and very personal occasion.
